Day 67.....
Exciting news today!!! Shea got the role of Kim Kandy in the student film ~ Dreams Out There. They start shooting on Wed. ~ the 10th at the UCLA sound stage. Shea is really excited! It's a student film ~ so there is no pay involved. But, it will go on her resume and it's great experience for her! We are going to go have a nice dinner and go to a movie tonight to celebrate! :) Til tomorrow.....

It's always fun & exciting checking out the blog to see what is new. I can't imagine what hard work it is to keep going to audition after audition, staying uplifted, focused & positive and then playing the waiting game. I admire you and your commitment to your dream Shea, keep it up! Persistence and dedication will pay off as you already are beginning to see.

Less than two weeks and you'll be home & so much to look forward to there too with Topher's graduation (CONGRATULATIONS!!) and of course the reunion with family & friends. Safe travels!
Less than three weeks and I head off my trip to visit my daughter Kristen and her family in Africa! The twins turn one while I'm there, really looking forward to the Christmas holidays this year.

Hey there! Good to hear from you.....and thanks soooo much! Shea is very driven....and never ever seems to get down.....! :) I believe it will all be shot on the sound stage ~ but, not sure of that? And YES, very ready to go home....for Thanksgiving and Christmas....and Topher's graduation....and just be HOME!!! And be with family and friends! Wow ~ going to Africa in 3 weeks ~ that is awesome!!
